On July 28, 2024, Ceepower and MEMF Electrical Industries Co. (MEMF) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Ceepower’s headquarters in Fuzhou. The ceremony was attended by Ceepower President, Ms. Chen Manhong, and MEMF's Executive Vice President, Mr. Ahmed A. Al-Mohaimeed, along with other senior leaders from both companies. This partnership marks a significant step in enhancing cooperation in the smart distribution and cable accessory sectors.

MEMF is a leading electrical equipment manufacturer in Saudi Arabia with over 25 years of experience in the GCC region. It has been a trusted partner of Ceepower since 2006, focusing on medium-voltage cable accessories. The new agreement deepens this long-standing collaboration, shifting from product supply to joint research and technological innovation, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and its energy diversification goals.

The two companies will focus on areas such as equipment supply, technical support, and supply chain optimization over the next five years. This partnership will help drive the region’s energy transformation and reinforce Ceepower’s growing international presence. During their visit to Ceepower’s production facilities, MEMF’s delegation was impressed by Ceepower’s innovations in smart electrical solutions and its focus on sustainable energy development.

Ceepower attended the inaugural China-Nigeria Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, held during the 2024 China-Africa Forum in Beijing, which marked the upgrading of China-Nigeria relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. The forum facilitated discussions between Ceepower, Nigerian government officials, and businesses on key areas of collaboration, including power, renewable energy, and smart technologies.

The event, themed “Precise Matching,” aimed to strengthen ties between Chinese businesses and Nigerian state governments. Nigeria, as Africa’s largest economy and China’s primary export market in the region, presents significant opportunities for trade and investment.

At the forum, Ceepower engaged in targeted trade talks with Nigerian officials, focusing on key sectors such as energy storage, smart grid solutions, and rail transport. The company’s participation underscores its commitment to expanding in the African market, leveraging its extensive industry expertise and customer base.

Ceepower aims to use this collaboration to explore new opportunities in Nigeria and contribute to the global energy transition through its integrated solutions in cable accessories, smart distribution equipment, and energy storage. On September 29th, the Chongqing-Yibin section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway officially opened. Ceepower’s subsidiary, Wuhan Wuchang Electric Control Co., Ltd., supplied 126 prefabricated substations, ensuring reliable power along the 192-kilometer route.

Designed for speeds of up to 350 km/h, this section significantly shortens travel times between major cities, reducing the journey from Chongqing to Luzhou East to just 26 minutes, and to Yibin Station in as little as 48 minutes. It enhances regional connectivity and supports the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Ceepower’s modular, compact substations are tailored to Sichuan’s complex terrain, providing a stable power supply for the safe operation of this critical rail line.

The ECRL connects Kota Bharu to Port Klang over 665 kilometers, serving as a critical infrastructure project under the Belt and Road Initiative. On July 25, 2024, Ceepower contributed to the full-capacity grid integration of a 48 MW / 96 MWh energy storage station in Lianyungang's Xuwei New District. As the region's first large-scale electrochemical storage system, it marks a key step in the district's move toward sustainable energy.

With its rapidly growing energy demands, Xuwei New District needed a reliable energy storage solution to support its green development goals. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate the system into the existing grid while ensuring long-term efficiency.

Ceepower Xiangrui Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Ceepower, provided EPC services for the project, while Beijing Ceepower Xindian Technology Co., Ltd., another Ceepower subsidiary, handled secondary equipment integration and technical support.

The energy storage station, spanning approximately 7,000 square-meter, is designed with an outdoor prefabricated cabin layout. It includes 12 PCS integrated units and 24 battery cabins, creating 24 storage units that connect to the 110 kV step-up substation at Nacha Riverbank via two 35 kV collection lines. This compact and efficient design ensures optimal performance and reliability.

At the core of the system lies Ceepower's independently developed Energy Storage Station Monitoring and Energy Management System, delivering real-time monitoring and management to guarantee the long-term efficiency and safety of the battery systems.

The successful commissioning of this energy storage station is a major step forward for Xuwei New District in building a modern, integrated power system that supports renewable energy.

The project is expected to generate 390 GWh of green electricity annually, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 340,000 tons, sulfur dioxide by 185 tons, and nitrogen oxides by 169 tons each year. This initiative enhances energy security while advancing the district's environmental objectives.

On December 27-28, 2024, Ceepower held its Supplier Conference in Fuzhou. The event brought together Ceepower’s leadership, including CEO Chen Manhong and Vice President Liu Mingqiang, along with supplier representatives from across China to discuss the future of an “innovation-driven supply chain” and explore new opportunities for shared growth.

The conference opened with a speech by Cheng Hongmei, a senior official from the Fuzhou Industry and Information Technology Bureau, who highlighted the city’s commitment to green development and the renewable energy sector. She emphasized the vital role Ceepower plays in driving the energy transition in Fuzhou and expressed hopes of attracting more innovative talent to support the region’s energy industry.

Liu Mingqiang, Vice President of Ceepower and General Manager of Wuchang Electrical Control Equipment Co., Ltd, delivered a keynote speech on “Unity and Cooperation for Mutual Benefit.” Reflecting on Ceepower’s achievements in 2024, Liu noted the company’s growth in both smart electrical equipment manufacturing and renewable energy, marking a year of resilient growth and digital transformation. Looking ahead to 2025, he outlined Ceepower’s international expansion strategy while continuing to strengthen its domestic operations. Zhu Weifeng, Chief Director of Mobile Energy Storage, presented the X60 mobile charging robot, a smart solution designed to accelerate the transformation of the traditional charging industry.

Zhu Weifeng, Chief Director of INTEPO's Mobile Storage and Charging Solutions, introduced the latest innovation, the X60 Mobile Shared Charging Robot. Designed to provide efficient, rapid charging and flexible deployment, the X60 represents Ceepower’s push to accelerate the transformation of the charging industry and integrate the “solar-storage-vehicle-grid” ecosystem.

The role of supply chain finance in supporting Ceepower’s industry chain development was discussed by Zeng Jingyu, Deputy General Manager of the Inclusive Finance Department at China Merchants Bank Fuzhou Branch. He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to offering tailored financial services to empower the growth of Ceepower’s partners.

Schneider Electric’s Vice President for China, Zhang Lianquan, spoke about the long-standing strategic partnership with Ceepower and expressed interest in deepening cooperation to foster a more sustainable and integrated energy ecosystem.

Insights into the successful collaboration between Wuxi Yineng Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. and Ceepower were shared by Ma Xizhong, General Manager of Yinen, who emphasized the potential to expand the partnership into new sectors.

At the conference, Ceepower honored 58 outstanding suppliers for their excellence in cost control, service, delivery, and innovation. The awards underscored the critical role these suppliers played in Ceepower’s success and reinforced the company’s dedication to fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

Suppliers were also invited to visit Ceepower’s Jinshan Smart Charging Station and commercial energy storage projects. The visits offered a firsthand look at Ceepower’s recent advancements in smart electrical equipment and renewable energy services, including developments in solar energy, energy storage, and smart grids, which provide new opportunities for collaboration.

At Ceepower's production base, suppliers explored the company’s efficient, advanced lean manufacturing system. The visit allowed them to see firsthand Ceepower’s capabilities in digital upgrades, production optimization, and quality management.
